    1. The Radio Dept.是來自瑞典的Shoegaze / Dream Pop樂隊。

    1. 屬瑞典著名indie唱片廠牌Labrador Records旗下。
    1. 1995年，主唱Johan Duncanson和同學Elin Almered玩起音樂，組合的名字取自瑞典小鎮隆德一家由加油站兼收音機維修店－Radioavdelningen，亦即瑞典語的The Radio Department。

    1. 其後，該組合拆夥。Johan Duncanson於1998年重新製作音樂，找來Martin Larsson搭檔，並繼續沿用The Radio Dept.這個名字。
    1. 至2001年，樂隊最多有5人，由Larsson女友Lisa Carlberg擔任貝斯手， 鼓手為Per Blomgren而鍵盤手則是Daniel Tjäder。  
    1. 現時樂隊只剩下3人，Duncanson、Larsson及Daniel Tjäder。

    1. 2006年，樂隊的3首作品 (“Pulling Our Weight”, “I Don’t Like It Like This” and “Keen on Boys”) 被收錄進蘇菲亞．哥普拉執導的《瑪麗皇后》（Marie Antoinette.）中，令The Radio Dept.獲得更多注目。http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0LV8vjTgiM
    2. 搭上Shoegaze浪潮的最後一班車，The Radio Dept. 以第一張專輯Lesser Matters嶄露頭角，鏗鏘的結他聲、夢幻的噪音、悲傷的歌詞，令The Radio Dept.成為其中一隊2000年最成功的Shoegaze/ Dream Pop 樂隊。

    1.  第二張專輯《Pet Grief》，褪去噪音，The Radio Dept.的風格開始由結他主導轉向更輕巧的的Synth Pop，令人耳目一新。於2010年發表的第三張大碟《Clinging to a Scheme》更被不少媒體評為他們最成熟的作品。
